Latham Construction (2004) Limited were awarded the civil works contract at Metlifecare’s Pohutukawa Landing Retirement Village development in Beachlands. The scope of works included the installation of all key public infrastructure (roads, drainage, water supply and wastewater), several retaining walls, carparking areas, coordination with builders during the construction of our villas, apartments and amenities and bulk earthworks from the period between April 2019 through to the end of 2023.

We have found them exceptional to work with over the years, are solutions focused and delivered to a high quality. The team especially were easy to work with as we transitioned from a construction site into an operational environment.

Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki has partnered with Latham Construction in a number of complex and intricate projects over the past five years. Their attention to detail and delivery of holistic outcomes – commercial, social, cultural and environmental – has been exemplary. Well-deserved to all involved! I had very little involvement in this project, however I can tell you... When I arrived in NZ 3 years ago, this was one of the first sites I visited with Andy Gray and PC as a Snr DM to get an idea of some of the work being done.
